Rupsta gamma is the latest VST 2.0 plug-in from Pete Linsener. It's a drum sample player featuring 11 drum sounds that may be played with 24-voice polyphony. The sounds are based on standard wav files (8-32 bit, 4-96kHz) that can be loaded direct from the instrument's front panel. The sound may be adjusted in volume and panning and may be tuned with a range of +- 2 octaves.

Rupsta gamma has a stereo and additional 6 mono outputs to which every sound may be routed. Additionally, there is an attack-hold-decay envelope for volume and pitch. Sounds may be layered by assigning more than one sound to a single note. On the front panel there are pads to trigger the sound, muting- and solo-switches for easy adjustment of the single sounds as well as of the whole drum set. Timing is sample accurate and Rupsta gammer supports both automation and postprocessing functions.

    System requirements:

A VST 2.0 capable host software and a PC with at least 266MHz The license fee is US$ 30 / Euro 35. It's available at the LinPlug online shop.
