In collaboration with Buddy Rich's daughter, Cathy Rich, Music Industry Vet Bill Morgan has launched The Buddy Rich Drum Company. Considered one of history's greatest Jazz musicians, Buddy Rich dedicated his life to the craft of drumming. The Buddy Rich Signature Kit

The Buddy Rich Signature kit is designed after the legend's personal specifications. The 100% Maple shell's ply distribution from one drum size to another is arranged to deliver the best tone, projection and resonance: 14"x24" bass drum (7 ply), 9"X13" rack tom (6 ply), two 16"X16" floor toms (7 ply) and matching 5"x14" snare drum (10 ply).

The Beaver Tail Lugs, "Rail Consolette" Tom mount and shell-mounted ride and splash cymbal holders are vintage in design, but manufactured to meet the quality and durability demands of today's drummer. The gorgeous, high-density White Marine Pearl finish rounds out the authentic features of this amazing sounding drum kit. Whether for a practice room kit, or for the gigging drummer faced with stage space restrictions, this kit fits the bill. Features high-density wrapped Poplar shells, suspension tom mount system with memory locks, beaver tail lugs, triple flanged hoops, and telescoping bass drum spurs. Kit consists of 8"x10" and 8"X12" rack toms, 12"X14" floor tom, 14"X18" bass drum with matching 5"X13" snare. Electroplate Blue wrap finish.

The suspension tom mount system brings out the beautiful, natural tone and sustain from the 100% Maple shells. The ball-style "L" rod infinitely adjusts the angle and height of toms with ease, and includes memory locks to ensure perfect set up every time. Triple flanged hoops and telescoping bass drum spurs for stability. The gorgeous polished lacquer and beaver tail style lugs give a very distinct and unique look.

Unlike the industry standard student snare, the Buddy Rich student snare is a 10-lug design for much better sounding and tuning capabilities. Durability was a key factor in the design of this kit. The compact luggage style roller case is made of a high-grade nylon for supreme durability. The double positioning, locking aluminum handle and polymer casters allow for easy bus stop to class room transportation.
