  • Alfred Music Publishing Releases Led Zeppelin: Coda in Platinum Drum Transcriptions

    By Guest |

Alfred Music Publishing, the official print publisher for Led Zeppelin and thousands of other artists, is proud to complete its Led Zeppelin Platinum Drums catalog with the album-matching folio to the band’s ninth and final studio album, Coda.

Drawing from more than 30 years of documentation, interviews, and recorded footage, Led Zeppelin: Coda Platinum Drums contains drum transcriptions with unprecedented accuracy for all 11 songs on the album. The songbook also features vintage Zeppelin photographs and historical forewords by Guitar World magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Brad Tolinski, that chronicle the history of one of classic rock’s greatest bands—providing drummers the opportunity to learn the genius behind John Bonham’s iconic grooves and fills.

“Released in 1982, Coda is a superb collection of Led Zeppelin rarities culled from various sessions during the band’s illustrious 12-year career,” says Tolinski. “The album arrived two years after Led Zeppelin disbanded following the death of drummer John Bonham, and while it consists of odds and ends, live tracks, and studio outtakes, most of the recordings are not only of interest but also flat-out terrific.”

Led Zeppelin: Coda Platinum Drums is now available for $19.99. Led Zeppelin’s complete studio discography is also available within the Led Zeppelin Platinum Drums series. Pick up your copies at a local music retail store, or buy them today at alfred.com.
