Street Price From $499.99
HAYWARD, CA—Recording King adds two new banjos to the best-selling Madison line – the RK-R36 tone ring banjo with mahogany resonator and neck, and the RK-OT25, an open back with a scooped fretboard and no-knot tailpiece. The Recording King Madison line is for every banjo player looking for a high-quality, great-sounding instrument that's still affordable.
Players all over the world have been impressed with the Madison's combination of great tone and value. The all new RK-R36 is built with a Mastertone-style bell brass cast tone ring and one-piece flange just like our best-selling RK-R35, but with a select mahogany resonator and neck. The 24-hook brass tension hoop allows the head to be adjusted to the perfect tension, and the nickel-plated hardware matches vintage Mastertone-style specs at a fraction of the price.
The all-new RK-OT25 is an old-time picking machine, with a steam-bent maple rim, 24-bracket tension hoop, and dual coordinator rods for adjustability. We've built this banjo specifically for old-time players, with features like our scooped fretboard, presto tailpiece and old-style Remo FiberSkyn head.
Our new Madison models start at a street price of $499.99 and come with Recording King's industry-leading lifetime warranty.
