Lanikai Introduces New Soprano Banjolele

Lanikai introduces the new LB6-S soprano sized banjolele at the 2011 NAMM show in Anaheim this January.
"Portability and volume is what this little uke is about." commented product manager Drew Lewis. "The Banjolele harkens back to the roaring 20's and 30's when vaudeville ruled the entertainment circuit. Before electric amplification, entertainers needed a way to project the sound of a ukulele. Along came the banjolele and a new sound became part of our lexicon."
We're following up on the success of our LBU-C banjolele that we introduced last year by offering this smaller, less expensive model" commented Scott Emmerman, Director of Marketing and Sales. "We anticipate strong demand for this great little product."
The LB6-S features an open back design, compact 6 inch maple rim with Remo Fiberskyn head, maple neck and distressed brass hardware. Additionally geared tuners greatly improve tuning capabilities. A Lanikai banjolele gig bag is included with purchase.
The LB6-S retails for $419.99, has a MAP of $269.00 and will be available in February, 2011
