  • New Ibanez SRT Neck-Thru Basses. More Sustain. More High-End.

    By Guest |

For 2010, Ibanez adds an even more modern touch to its already successful Soundgear line of bass guitars with the new SRT model. SRT's neck-thru construction supplies longer sustain, brighter sound, and easier access to the upper frets than traditional bolt-on necks. EMG pickups push these high tech animals into the realm of modern bass sound. SRT's EMG 40DC pickups reproduce just about anything from the cleanest highs right down to the dirtiest growling lows. Add perfect 3D-contoured ergonomics, beautiful figured maple arched tops and scooped back body, and you have "The Modern Bass"—ultimate gear for today's bass race. Both four- and five-string models are available. Since the "SR Revolution" in 2008, the Ibanez SR "Slim & Fast" concept has dominated the bass world and catapulted Soundgear to be one of the very top basses in the U.S.
