Carvin Announces Availability of SP Series "Soap Bar" Bass Humbucker Pickups

Carvin is pleased to announce the availability of the new SP Series "Soap Bar" Bass Humbucker pickups. An available option for all Carvin custom-ordered 4-, 5-, and 6-string bass guitars, these new pickups deliver deep, smooth bass response with excellent mid range punch and top end definition.

Quality construction has always been a hallmark of Carvin products, and the new SP Series Humbuckers are no exception. The SP Series Humbuckers incorporate side by side coil design that enhances mid range growl while also delivering a smooth bottom end. Since the SP Soap Bars can be used in basses with either passive or active electronics, customers have that much more opportunity to configure their custom ordered bass guitar exactly the way they want it.

Carvin's custom shop has always been able to deliver instruments with superior build quality and options and, once again, Carvin delivers the goods. The new SP Series Humbuckers are designed for 4-, 5-, and 6-string bass guitars with an effective string spacing width up to 3.4-inches. Available in black, the SP Soap Bars are available for an instrument's neck position (SPN) or bridge position (SPB).
