Members ILikeGuitar
My Van Zandt strat bridge pickup "broke". The lead disconnected where it goes into the bobbin. Is there any way to reconnect this? Or is it dead forever?
Members PunkKitty
It's probably best to ask Bryan of BG Pickups (norcal_git_r) or Ken (Rose Pickups) about this.
Members honeyiscool
Yeah it's easy. Unwrap a winding or so and resolder it. I've "fixed" pickups before. You'll lose a bit of wire but it's just a drop in the bucket. p.s. I really don't know why people don't protect that wire with a piece of tape or something. In so many guitars, it's just exposed out there, waiting to get snapped.
