Members ybakos
Hi guys,As my rig is expanding I was wondering what strategies many of you use when needing to have different EQ settings for different synths and/or sounds. For example, say you've got multiple rack modules and a main keyboard synth, and you want different EQ settings depending on which module (and/or sound) you are playing at any given time during a performance. Do you just adjust things manually? Or are you using multiple in-line EQ's? Cheers, yong
Members greaseenvelope
Why not just get a bigger mixer so each module goes into its own eq'd channel? Then if you really wanted to get fancy you'd just need some kind of a/b box to put the new configuration into a different mixer channel.
Members Yoozer
Most digital mixers will have several EQ presets. If you can find one that allows you to switch EQ presets via MIDI, you could go that route; you could send the program change for both the patch and the mixer at the same time. There's no guarantee that's going to work, though.
