Members johndempsey
Well, I've heard good things about Godins, but they're just so damn ugly....so I'd have to go with the Fender...

Members rgrabows
I went Godin also .....probably one of the most under-rated guitars on the market today - plus I got mine for a steal.
Members Beckman
I bought a Mexi strat over a Godin. Big mistake. I had to really play around with the set up to get near playing condition. The fret ends are REAL sharp. I originally compared it to an american fender, I didn't really notice a difference. Well, I was wrong. I still am not a fan of Fender playability. I love the sound though. Godins play real nice.

Members Big Boss Man
I play my Godin LG SP90 all the time. And I do have MIA Fender and Gibson guitars that I could be playing instead of the Godin.
Members Bmajor
Godin's are very popular here. This probably isn't the best place for an objective answer to your question.
Members daddyO
I tried a Godin SSS configuration with a Lacewood top. Wow.
