  • Simple power amp to drive cabinet

I'm looking for a simple solution to drive my speaker cab. My current chain: guitar --> Zoom G3n --> Peavey XR400 mixing amp --> Sunn passive speaker cabinet

Here's what I would like to do: guitar --> Zoom G3n --> cheap/simple power amp with little to no control interface --> Sunn cabinet

Why ditch the Peavey? I spend so much time turning knobs and shaping tone that I don't spend much time actually playing, so I want to simplify my setup. There has to be something out there that is a small/cheap power amp with little to no features (other than amplifying the signal), right? Thanks in advance.

Removing the mids from the guitar is tantamount to removing the lows from the bass, removing the presence from the cymbals, and removing the ammo from a gun
