Members Gitplayer675849
Im looking to get a multi effects rack unit (possibly a G Major, G Sharp or something else) and a DBX 266 compressor, but I play a Fender 65 twin reissue which does not have an effects loop. I've read about some guys having noise issues when plugging a processor straight into an amp, and I do not have an effects loop which some say is neccesary. Can anyone here tell me if this setup will work out? The DBX has a noise gate on it, and I could also get a seperate noise gate. Help!
Members Untraceable
not sure but I think you could get a fx loop modded into one.

Members drewl
I've been running my GSP1101 into my 67 Pro Reverb and it sounds incredible, even with the noise gate off and high gain settings it's no noisier than pedals, with noise gate on it's dead silent of course.
