Members paul higgins
hi can anyone help me ? i play a roland vk8, i only use a kc60 practice amp, as i only play at home, i am not to hot yet, but i love the hammond b3 leslie 122/147 sound, i am trying to reproduce the sound from (you,ve got to change your evil ways) carlos santana. or say john lord, speed king, or sweet child in time. i have tried a dynacord 22 and i cant seem to get what i want, can anyone advise me, i know my vk8 is great, but i cant get any bite from it.please email me with any help paul.higgins67@ntlworld.com
Members eric
Crank up the overdrive. The VK8 can sound really good without any external help. While the Dynacord is awesome, it is not much different than the VK8's internal sim. I'd say don't bother with that and just tweak the heck out of the VK8. Members b3keys
You'll also get a better sound if you run the VK8 in stereo.
