Members Inazone Posted November 2, 2005 Members Share Posted November 2, 2005 After avoiding laptops for many years, I inherited one that will be acceptable as a "scratch pad" for song ideas. I have a little amp modeler and some headphones, but would like to pick up some inexpensive monitors. I happened to come across an online ad for Tascam VL-S21 monitors, which look like a glorified PC subwoofer/satellite set but promise to deliver flat frequency response. For $99, I'm tempted to bite the bullet on this, figuring that they can't be much worse than other budget monitors. Does anyone have experience with these?
