Members spokenward
I've got a client who has one of those popular NAS appliance boxes that is about the size of a typical mini-ITX enclosure. I have never set up one of these boxes myself. They have it configured so that I have valid logins for AFP (Apple) or http addressing in the browser. But what I would really like to do right now is address it SMB CIFS Windows Share style and I cannot figure out a way in. Do they selectively turn on/off different protocols? Am I missing a critical slash here or there? Any thoughts? The admin is unreachable. thanks...
