Members joconnor58
In my band we use an AVIOM monitor system. It's great but I don't like being physically tethered to it while playing. The AVIOM wireless packs are already spoken for. Has anyone used a Bluetooth Transmitter dongle with Bluetooth headphones in this sort of application? I suspect the delay is potentially too large for live playing, but I have no way of testing other than buying a dongle. I already have very good BT headphones. CMS Author MikeRivers Posted July 9, 2013 CMS Author Share Posted July 9, 2013 I think that the delay would be a significant problem. Otherwise everybody would do it that way because it's so much cheaper than real radio transmission. One of the most frequently asked questions about the PreSonus QMix iGadget monitor control system is "why can't we get the audio through the iPod as well?" The answer is "Bluetooth latency."
