The Allen & Heath Xone family of DJ and club mixers is being expanded with the arrival of the new Xone:32 performance mixer. The Xone:32 concentrates the outstanding assets of its larger siblings, the Xone:62 and Xone:464, plus several new key features, into a compact, elegant package.

Like the other Xone models, the Xone:32 incorporates a dynamic feature set that represents a new advance in the tools available to the performing DJ. Unique to the desk is the revolutionary Direct Recall System (DRSTM), where mixer settings can be stored in up to four user presets that can be instantly recalled by simply pressing a button. Another unique feature is the LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) that enables much faster and consistent stutter and modulation, which, when combined with the groundbreaking variable VCF filter, can produce breathtaking live performance effects. The mixer also includes advanced scratch mixer features, including VCA channel faders and crossfader with variable contour, hamstering transform, and a fine-tuned extended slope channel EQ.

The clean and easy-to-use control layout is spread across four surfaces: upper top and lower top, together with front facing side and rear facing connectors, and has been thoughtfully designed to ensure finger freedom and an unhindered, intuitive performance. The lower top forms the main performance section, which can be removed for easy fader servicing and repositioning of the transform switches. The upper panel is home to other key performance and monitoring controls, such as the EQ, meters and filters. The front and rear vertical surfaces include such controls as gain, phono/line/mic selection and headphone controls, all kept safely out of the way to prevent snagging and accidental operation during a performance.
