Wireworks Highlights WireLUX Premium Audio Cables at InfoComm 2007

Wireworks, the leading innovator of audio/video cabling systems and custom panels, highlights its WireLUX Premium Audio Cables at InfoComm 2007, booth #9421. With five variations, including MusiLUX, InstaLUX, StudiLUX, UltraLUX and SpeakerLUX, the line offers exceptional flexibility, while its ultra flexible PVC (UFPVC) outer jacket provides maximum durability and no cable memory.

Featuring conductive thermoplastic (CTP) with bare copper drain wire, MusiLUX, InstaLUX and StudiLUX Premium Audio Cables provides 100% shielding and faster termination. Its cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation reduces migration, while copper conductors make soldering faster. All WireLUX products are packaged in 500 ft. pools for easy ordering.

MusiLUX is the ultimate in a sonic excellence and flexible microphone cable, with one pair 22 AWG (30X36) BC connectors, 0.015" PE color-coded insulation, 22 AWG BC drain wire and 0.0029" UFPVC satin finish jacket. MusiLUX lays flat on the floor and is available in 10 colors, including black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, grey and white.

InstaLUX is a color-coded installation cable featuring a smaller diameter and easy, fast termination. It is designed with one pair 24 AWG (7x32) TC conductors, 0.01" PVC color-coded insulation, 24 AWG (7x32) TC drain wire and 0.016" UFPVC satin jacket finish. InstalLUX is also available in 10 colors (colors listed above).

StudiLUX is a fast-strip multi-channel interconnection cable that contains four or eight color-coded InstaLUX cables in a 0.05" UFPV black satin finish jacket. StudiLUX's color-coded inner jackets offer the added convenience of instant identification.

UltraLUX is a multi-pair interconnect cable that features oxygen-free bare copper conductors that meet the most rigorous of applications. Designed with an ultra-flexible UFPVC black satin jacket in four, eight, 12 and 16 channels (26 AWG, 30x40), each featuring a numbered jacket. It also offers 0.01" XLPE insulation and 99% spiral shield (96x38) OFBC with 26 AWG (7x34) OFTC drain wire.

SpeakerLUX is the most super-flexible loudspeaker cable with 49 strand 13 AWG conductors, UFPV black satin finish and a pressure extruded jacket that produces a lay-flat cable and eliminates the need for inconvenient plastic or string fillers. It is available in two, four, six and eight 13 AWG (49X30) BC conductors and 0.028" color-coded insulation.
