    Westlake Audio, a leader in high-quality audio products for more than 25 years, will feature its popular Lc3w12 Monitor System at the 109th AES Convention, held September 22 to 25 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Booth 1101. The compact Lc3w12 offers extensive electro-mechanical-acoustical dampening, an integrated passive crossover for single or bi-amp operation and mirror imaged cabinets.

    "The Lc3w12 is specifically designed for use as a mid-field monitor or as a main control room monitor for small- to mid-size control rooms," explains Ken Centofante, sales and marketing director for Westlake Audio. "Its a compact monitor, yet packs a great punch with high output and wide bandwidth."

    The Lc3w12 (15"W x 25"H x 15.5D) comprises of a 12-inch paper woofer, a six-inch midrange and a 1-inch dome tweeter with a 100-watt continuous power handling capacity and sensitivity of 91dB @ 1M for 2.83V input. The Lc3w12s frequency response is rated at 40Hz-18kHz with an impedance level of 4 ohms nominal/3 ohms minimum with dual-banana, five-way binding posts and bi-wire/bi-amp capability. At 107 pounds, the Lc3w12 comes finished in a black utility paint and includes a one-year warranty.
