    By Guest |

LasVegasProAudio is announcing the availability of the Weiss Engineering Saracon-Light audio file sample rate conversion software for Windows. Priced at less than half that of the standard Saracon, the new Saracon-Light is an easy-to-use two-channel version of the very high-quality Weiss sample rate conversion algorithms. Operates at sampling frequencies of 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96kHz. The software also offers extensive monitoring tools, providing audio engineers with full control over the conversion process.

A versatile sample rate conversion tool of the highest quality, with an ergonomic and intuitive user interface, Saracon-Light runs on Windows platforms and supports PCM audio at sampling frequencies from 44.1 to 96kHz and word lengths of 16/20/24/32-bit fixed point and 64/32-bit floating point. Word length reduction is performed using the included POW-R and flat TPDF dithering algorithms. Supported PCM file formats include wav, au and aiff. Additional features include log files and a built-in sine wave signal generator for testing purposes.

Saracon-Light system requirements include an Intel Pentium 4 processor running Windows 2000 or XP, a recommended 256MB RAM, a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 (recommended) and an available USB port for the software dongle.

    MSRP: $925.00
