    By Guest |

WaTunes, the revolutionary distribution service that enables independent artists and record labels to sell their music on iTunes entirely free has announced its new iTunes Daily Trending Service. WaTunes' free and VIP artists will be able to purchase their daily trending data for $1.99. This enables the artist to keep track of how their sales are doing on a day-to-day basis. Kevin Rivers, CEO of WaTunes, says in his company blog: "As of today, WaTunes is among the first offer iTunes Daily Trending Reports to both Free Users and VIPs for just $1.99 per report. Now you'll be able to see how your sales are doing on a day-to-day basis. No longer do you have to wait a week or even a month to see your sales. " WaTunes VIP customer DJ Alodis of the euro dance group Kandystand said: "One of the key things that independent artists are lacking with their digital distribution is good options on reporting. Indie artists and labels have to have a good feedback system from their digital distributors and aggregators so they can constantly monitor their marketing strategies and make sure their PR dollars are making a good return on their investments. With WaTunes introducing a daily iTunes reporting option, this is going to bring a great benefit to the independent music arena"
