  • V-Moda Teams Up With Guitar Builder James Trussart To Design Guitar Collection

    By Guest |

Music lifestyle brand V-MODA announced today it has joined forces with iconic guitar builder, James Trussart, to create exclusive guitars. V-MODA CEO and Founder Val Kolton and Trussart worked together to ensure the design of each guitar exudes the essence of the V-MODA brand.

The two brands share similar design philosophies and are heavily immersed into the music culture. Each of the collaborative guitars incorporate the philosophies of the two venerable companies including meticulous design, unparalleled sound quality, and the use of the finest materials. V-MODA is known for fusing fashion and music to create innovative products, such as its venerable Vibe series of headphones, while James Trussart is infamous for creating custom guitars for the music industry's heavyweights.

"The collaborative guitars are a perfect example of how we're fusing the elements of music, technology, and design to create products that represent the remix culture of which we and our consumers live," said Kolton, also an independent DJ and producer. "The guitars extend beyond music instruments; they're true pieces of art that are inspired by music, and were created for music. These guitars are one of many ways that V-MODA transcends traditional product categories and is expanding its music lifestyle collection this year."

The guitars were showcased earlier this month at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV and at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT. Under the Camp Freddy bill, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Matt Sorum (Guns n' Roses, Velvet Revolver), and Billy Morrison (The Cult, Circus Diablo) performed with the exclusive guitars at the infamous Harry O's during the film festival. All of the products are handcrafted in Los Angeles.
