Tish Ciravolo, Founder of Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, Honored with <em>Guitar Goddess</em> Magazine's Trailblazer Award

Guitar Goddess, a magazine dedicated to the celebration of female guitarists, presented Tish Ciravolo, President and Founder of Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, with a Trailblazer Award at the magazine's recent Launch Party on November 20, 2009. Ciravolo was contacted by Ezina LeBlanc, President of Guitar Goddess Magazine and asked to be a Guest of Honor at their Launch Party held at the Gibson Guitar Showroom in Beverly Hills. She was thrilled to accept the invitation. "On behalf of the Guitar Goddess Magazine staff and all female guitarists worldwide, I would like to thank you for your contribution to women in music. I felt that I would have been remiss to launch this magazine without first acknowledging the woman who first started gathering the women. This magazine would not be possible without powerful Goddesses such as yourself and I will be forever grateful that you chose to share your wisdom, gifts and purity of spirit with us all. When you look at this award I hope that you will feel the support of women from around the world who appreciate everything that you have done for the world of women in music." LeBlanc stated. Ciravolo was honored with The Guitar Goddess Trailblazer Award for paving the way for young women to play guitar. "I feel extremely fortunate and blessed to be recognized as a 'Trailblazer,' doing whatever it takes to help girls play guitar and enjoy music!" said an enthusiastic Ciravolo. "I can't believe Daisy Rock will be celebrating its 10 year anniversary in 2010. It's been a blast! I am really looking forward to see how Daisy Rock and the female guitar community will evolve in the next ten years." Denise Vasquez, Daisy Rock endorsed artist, was invited on stage at the event to say a few words about Tish. "Tish has such a beautiful, giving spirit and has given so much to schools, camps, charities, artists, and has opened up so many doors for not only young female guitarists, but for female guitarist of all ages! She has created a much needed community for us female musicians, and she is the epitome of what I aspire to create with my foundation!
