    MacAudioLab, makers of Mac audio tutorials, has released a new instructional QuickTime video on recording audio and performing with your Apple laptop. It explains the gear needed to get started, in-depth explanations of the technologies behind the gear, interviews with people in the audio community that are involved in laptop audio, and techniques from engineers and musicians.

    The Mobile Macintosh Recording Studio is an interactive training video authored in an interactive QuickTime environment, and can be played on any computer running QuickTime 6 or higher. Plays natively in Mac OSX, Mac OS9, and Windows. It also includes interactive web links and extra tutorials on Digital Performer and Cubase.
