Submersible Music, Drums On Demand To Ship Libraries As Expansion Packs

Submersible Music and Drums On Demand® today announced that three popular Drums On Demand libraries are shipping as DrumCore expansion packs (i.e. "DrummerPacks"). The volumes available for DrumCore and DrumCore LT (the free "lite" version of DrumCore) include "Upbeat & Aggressive", "Blues & Boogie" and "Jazz & Latin". These new DrummerPacks leverage Drums On Demand Song Sets™ as DrumCore GrooveSets, for easier song construction with loops. The packs feature audio content (loops, fills and variations) as well as ready-to-play MIDI drumkits for DrumCore's MIDI instrument.

Like all DrummerPacks, the content comes pre-configured with metadata for use with the DrumCore search engine. This provides quick access to grooves, fills, variations and individual drum sounds. Search content based on feel (straight, shuffle, etc.), time signature and tempo. Content is arranged in "GrooveSets", which are a song-like collection of related beats, variations and fills that serve as a construction kit for song creation. Most GrooveSets include hi-hat and ride patterns to compliment traditional verse-chorus structures. This content also uses the Drums On Demand Loop Layers™ concept, that allows creation of your own multi-channel groove loops and breakdowns using matching isolated kick, snare, rim, hat and ride patterns that you can combine in almost limitless ways. "Drag-and-drop" audio and MIDI directly from DrumCore into Acid®, Audition®, Cubase®, Digital Performer®, Live™, Logic®, Nuendo®, Pro Tools® 7 and Sonar™. Audio exports in standard formats such as WAV and AIFF and REX2.

All Drums On Demand DrummerPacks are available for $79.99 each, (US retail price). All libraries require DrumCore 2 or the free DrumCore LT player (Mac® or PC). Example drum tracks using these products' GrooveSets are available in the DrummerPack area on the Submersible website. All content has been previously released by Drums On Demand. Upbeat & Aggressive

Upbeat & Aggressive features 1,700 totally rocking, royalty-free loops and matching drumkits arranged into songwriter GrooveSets/Song Sets. Choose from an average of 45 verse, chorus, fill, bridge, break, intro, endings and other loops.

Included are twenty-five new DrumCore MIDI kits based on 20 multi-velocity drumkit samples taken during each Song Set session. Kits feature a live and (of course) aggressive tone. Ringing snares, smackin' kicks and even a few sympathetic vibrations here and there let you know these are real drums in a real acoustic space. Perfect to rock-up your selection of MIDI kits.

Jazz & Latin:

From traditional jazz to crossover pop and swing, this Jazz & Latin DrummerPack offers 1400 loops and Loop Layers™ in 31 GrooveSets/Song Sets™ covering everything from smoke-filled jazz clubs to Big Band dance floors—with a touch of soul and R&B too.

There's everything from waltzes and two-beats to the Latin bossa novas, rhumbas and sambas that form the core of many traditional jazz compositions. Plus you get both brushed and sticked performances too! This Collection is great for everyone from traditional jazz artists working on their solo chops—to songwriters doing smooth crossover jazz/pop/folk—to composers for period film & TV work. There are also grooves appropriate for some soul and R&B styles.
