By Guest |
Soundlib has announced the release of G-Player 1.1, a Gigastudio file player for Mac OS X available as a stand alone application, RTAS, Audio Unit and VST plugins. No conversion required, G-Player plays all your Gigastudio files directly with a low CPU and memory usage. Playing Gigastudio files directly without any conversion has a lot of advantages, it saves you time and hard disk space. And whenever there is a new update, you don't have to reconvert all your files. The audio engine of G-Player was created from scratch to emulate the Gigastudio format as close as possible. G-Player supports disk streaming, dimensions, round robin, random samples, release triggers, multi layer cross-fades and 24 bit libraries. G-Player has 16 parts and includes another plug-in called G-Solo which has the same feature than G-Player but is limited to one instrument. Soundlib has also announced the porting of G-Player on the Windows platform. Main features:
- No conversion required
- Low CPU and memory usage
- Quick parameter editing
- Includes a Gigastudio file browser
- Includes the G-Solo plugin
- Free demo version
