  • Rik Kirby Presents Iconyx & IC Live - Digitally Steerable Line Array Technology at PLASA 2010

    By Guest |

Renkus-Heinz will host two seminars at PLASA 2010 on the hot topic of digitally steerable loudspeaker technology and its successful implementation in Renkus-Heinz's Iconyx and IC Live Digitally Steerable Column Arrays.

Rik Kirby, Renkus-Heinz VP Sales & Marketing, will present the sessions in the Whitehall Room in Earls Court 2, on Tuesday 14th September from 5:00pm - 6:00pm and on Wednesday 15th September from 1:00pm - 2:00pm.

The one-hour in-depth overview of the technology and its real-world benefits compared to traditional solutions, part of the PLASA 2010 Education & Learning Programme, is designed for sound designers and installers, technicians, system consultants, integrated solution providers, acoustic consultants and architects.

Designed for high voice and music performance in acoustically challenging spaces, digital beam steering technology enables the designer to aim the sound at the audience and keep it off reflective surfaces, minimizing echoes and improving intelligibility.

IC Live brings digital beam steering into the higher output and Live Sound markets with a real, beam steered, alternative to traditional line arrays, targeted at corporate events, hotel ballrooms and theatre productions.

Rik Kirby will discuss the technology's concepts and benefits in detail, and give a hands-on demonstration of Iconyx in action.
