  • Reverend Debuts The Daredevil 290 Electric Guitar

    By Guest |

Reverend has introduced the Daredevil 290 guitar, one of their new Set-Neck series. This double-cutaway design produces raw tone with classic upper-mid bite. The full thickness body features a stable neck joint, excellent upper-fret access, and it's not neck heavy.

The bridge pickup is slightly hotter than a vintage PAF, and the neck pickup slightly cleaner for balanced tone and output. The versatile Bass Contour control can imitate single-coil pickups (without hum), allowing the guitar to go from rock crunch to clean twang.

    Features:

    • Solid mahogany
    • Two Reverend P-90 pickups
    • 3-Way pickup switch
    • Wilkinson staggered EZ-Lock tuners
    • Volume, Tone, and Bass Contour (bass roll off) controls
    • 24.75" scale, set-neck one-piece mahogany with graphite nut and dual-action truss rod
    • Rosewood fingerboard with 12" radius and 22 frets
    • Retail price: $499
    Options:
    • Metallic Alpine, Jet Black
    • Les Trem tremolo ($100)
