Rees Electric Guitars introduce Superstratz hard tone-wood scratchplates.

Superstratz hard tone-wood scratchplates (or pickguards) are made by hand in the Rees-Electric-Guitars workshop in Cambridge, England. On the guitar, they not only look great, but also improve the sound quality. Tone damping plastic is eliminated, and replaced by resonant tone-wood that is carefully selected by a craftsman.

The scratchplates are made in a variety of light, medium, and dark hard tone-woods. They are finished with a fine gloss guitar lacquer, and can be made for any pickup size and configuration on most guitars. If you don't see exactly what you want in their current stock, Rees can make one to your specification at a similar price.
