Peavey Electronics launches the ProComm Wireless Headset Microphone Systems. Included in the new line are the ProComm PCX V12-HS, PCX V12-HS and the PCX V302-HS.

All three microphones have a frequency range of 60 Hz to 18 kHz (-3 dB) and a dynamic range greater than 102 dB.

Located on the microphones transmitters are a mode switch, gain control and a four-pin cardoid mic input jack. A RF signal level indicator and an audio signal level indicator are also provided.

While all three headset systems share many great features such as balanced and unbalanced outputs and frequency tracking and muting circuits, there is one main difference between them. The PCX V12-HS provides a single channel VHF system, while the PCX U12-HS offers a single channel UHF system and the PCX U302-HS delivers a 30-channel UHF system, all with true diversity circuitry.
