  • Peavey Introduces PVM 300 Series Drum Mics

    Peavey is pumping up its microphone line with the introduction of the new PVM 300 Series microphones and the PVM DMS-5, drum microphone system.

    Perfect for drummers to use either on stage or in the studio, the new series includes the PVM 321 kick drum microphone, the PVM 325 snare microphone and the PVM 328 tom microphone. For the professional drummer who wants an all-in-one package, Peavey offers the PVM DMS-5 drum mic system that includes one PVM 321, one PVM 324 and three PVM 328s.

    Microphones in the 300 Series offer outstanding sound quality. Each microphone features a dynamic, super cardioid polar pattern, which offers greater directional sensitivity. The PVM 321 offers a frequency response of 20-10kHz and a 140 dB Max SPL. The PVM 325 features a frequency response of 50-16kHz, while the PVM 328 features a frequency response of 20-12.5 kHz. Both the PVM 325 and the PVM 328 offer a 134 dB Max SPL

    All mics in the series include a cable and carrying case. Both the PVM 325 and PVM 328 include a 90-degree cable for convenient microphone positioning as well as a drum mount clip. The PVM DMS-5 includes four drum mount clips, four microphone cables with a 90-degree XLR connector, and one microphone cable with a straight XLR connector.
