  • Open Labs® To Broadcast Winter Product Release

    Open Labs is breaking the mold once again by broadcasting their Winter Product Release to the world via a live streaming talk show January 17-19, 10:00am-7:00pm (PST) from the Open Labs website.

    The talk show will feature a keynote speech, new product announcements, product demonstrations by Open Labs technicians, classes on various uses of their products (playing live using virtual instruments, multi-track digital recording, how to create beats, DJ/VJ functions, cloning musical keyboards and sound modules), interviews with technology partners (Microsoft, Sony and EMU), as well as, performances and interviews with Open Labs artist. Viewers will be able to ask questions to the staff and artist live on the air via phone, webcam or chat, as well as enter a chance to enter to win door prizes.

    "We have had great success using the world-wide web and wanted to give back to the virtual community by allowing them unprecedented access to our products, staff and artist," said Victor Wong, Founder and Chairman of Open Labs. "Our goal is to provide a more personal experience for our users."

    The tentative line-up includes: Morris Hayes (Keyboardist for Prince and the Power Generation), Polow Da Don (Producer for Ludacris, Fergie, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Alisha Keys, Gwen Stefani and Janet Jackson), Jimmy Nichols (Keyboardist and Music Director for Faith Hill and Reba M), Richard Devine (Composer for companies such as Native Instruments, Nike and Touchstone Pictures), The Heavy Weights (Producers for NeYo, Corbin Bleu, Christina Milian, and Rihanna), Scott Spock (Producer for Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears and Hilary Duff), Dave Schulz (Keyboardist for Goo Goo Dolls, Fuel, and Bo Diddley), George "Fat Man" Sanger (Sound Designer for video games such as The 7th Guest, Star Trek and Wing Commander), Mickael (Recording Artist with Baby Bash and Lil Jon on the recent hit song "Cyclone"), and possibly even some elusive A-list artist.

    Highlights will also be syndicated to Open Labs' Youtube.com, Myspace.com and Dailymotion.com accounts for viewing at a later date.
