New Platinum Bundle is Waves' Largest Yet

WAVES LTD. has chosen the Winter NAMM show to announce a new Platinum bundle containing 25 of its premium audio processing tools.

The new Platinum bundle includes all the processors in Waves most popular and award-winning Gold bundle, plus three new processors available from the Masters bundle, also announced at NAMM, and three processors from the Renaissance Collection 2 bundle, which introduced in the second half of 2001.

The Masters bundle includes innovative Linear Phase EQ and Multiband plus addition to the award-winning L2 Ultramaximizer. The Masters bundle offers tools ideal for precision mastering applications. The Renaissance Collection 2 includes the Renaissance VOX, a powerful vocal processor improving strength and stability; the Renaissance Bass, a 2nd generation version of the patented MaxxBass psycho-acoustic bass extension algorithm; and the Renaissance DeEsser, an improved de-esser offering adaptive threshold for smoother, more natural de-essing. The Gold bundle includes another 19 critically acclaimed tools from Waves.

The Platinum bundle will be available from Waves dealers in February 2002. It is available in Native and TDM versions. The Native version supports RTAS, AudioSuite, VST, MAS and DirectX formats on Macintosh and Windows PC platforms. The TDM version adds support for Digidesign's ProTools TDM format on the Macintosh. The MSRP for Platinum TDM is $4,200 and $2,100 for Platinum Native.
