BEHRINGER introduces the EURORACK MXB1002 ($179 MSRP), a 10-channel AC or battery-powered mixer with two mono channels, three stereo channels, and a separate stereo tape return channel. Its compact design, combined with the option to use standard alkaline batteries, makes the MXB1002 an affordable solution for any live recording or broadcasting application.

The five microphone inputs on the EURORACK MXB1002 have individual gain controls, ultra low-noise discrete mic preamplifiers and gold-plated XLR connectors. Separate gain controls for mic and line inputs make it possible to simultaneously run a mic and a line signal into each stereo channel. The mono channels both have dedicated inserts, and all stereo channels feature balanced 1/4" inputs. The mixer offers tape outs for recording in addition main mix outs. The separate stereo tape return features 1/4" and RCA jacks. All channel strips have an active 3-band equalizer, effects and monitor sends and individual clip LED's. The mixer also provides phantom power to allow for the use of condenser microphones. A separate headphone output with dedicated volume control is also included.

The EURORACK MXB1002 features extremely rugged construction, including high-grade sealed ALPS faders and pots, which ensure durability under the most demanding conditions. A 19-inch rack-mounting kit is included with the mixer.

The EUROACK MXB1002 is expected to ship in late spring 2001.
