Metric Halo announced at the 2002 Summer NAMM show that they have officially blessed MIO Console Version 1.3 as the Golden Master. MIO Console, the software control application for Mobile I/O, is feature complete and stable, and is shipping with all new orders. Mobile I/O users operating an earlier version of the software may visit www.mhlabs.com for information about updating to Version 1.3. This is a free upgrade for all registered users.

Mobile I/O's User Interface, MIO Console, is comprised of control surfaces for I/O Controls, System Controls, Routing Matrix, and Mixing Surface. The true power of MIO Console lies in its Routing Matrix, allowing any input to be routed to any output. In addition to the extremely flexible patchbay router, MIO Console also contains a full scale Mixing Surface, with control for level, pan, solo, and mute. Mobile I/O 2882 is capable of mixing up to 12 stereo busses at a time I/O controls provide an efficient means of gain staging, phantom power assignment, and mic/line/instrument setting.

"Mobile I/O has already dramatically changed the way hundreds of audio professionals work," said Metric Halo President Joe Buchallter. "Now that we have blessed MIO Console, we can concentrate our efforts on continuing to provide real innovation for the audio industry, and work with our dedicated users to develop the tools of tomorrow."
