New at Summer NAMM is Peavey Electronics' new Millennium STD bass. The Millennium STD is Peavey's least expensive bass made in the U.S.A..
The Millennium STD is a no-frills approach to the Millennium series' playability and sound, made for bassists who want to lay down a solid bottom end without laying out a huge wad of cash. This bass keeps things simple so you can concentrate on keeping the groove and having a good time.
Features on the Millennium STD include a solid alder body, pau ferro fretboard, hard rock maple neck, satin black hardware and double expansion truss rod, plus a JB pickup configuration.
The Millennium STD is available in black, sunburst, candy apple red, topaz blue and custom shop colors. The Millennium STD has a U.S. MSRP of $899.99 and will be available at Authorized Peavey Dealers in September 2002.
