  • Hollywood Guitar Center Hosting Free Live Drum Clinic With Carmine Appice

    By Guest |

Don't miss your chance to meet drumming legend Carmine Appice in person on March 8th at 7:00pm at the Hollywood Guitar Center (7425 Sunset Blvd. Hollywood, California 90046). Carmine will be giving a personal clinic for all his books, including the new Ultimate Realistic Rock 35th Anniversary Collector's Limited Edition (book & enhanced CD), Ultimate Realistic Rock Complete (2 DVDs), and Ultimate Realistic Rock (book & 2 CDs).

Bass icon Tim Bogert will be joining Carmine at this clinic. The second half of the legendary Bogert/Appice rhythm section, Tim Bogert is the bassist for Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, and Beck, Bogert and Appice. This is a rare opportunity to see both Carmine and Tim performing up-close and in person.

From founding member of bands like Vanilla Fudge, Cactus and King Kobra to drummer and co-writer of Rod Stewart's hit songs "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy" and "Young Turks," music legend Carmine Appice has established himself as one of the most influential drummers in rock history.

Not only has he played with everyone from Jeff Beck and Ozzy Osbourne to Brian May and Pink Floyd, he's also the author of best-selling drum book Realistic Rock. One of the first books ever written by a rock drummer for rock drummers, Realistic Rock has sold over 350,000 copies, making it the best-selling instructional rock drum book of all time.
