Crate Amplifiers has announced the introduction of four new amplifiers in the Crate GFX series, each featuring effects channel tracking and a digital chromatic tuner onboard.

The Crate GFX65T ($519.99 list) is a 65 watt open back combo amplifier with one Crate 12" speaker. The GFX65T incorporates the "Flexwave Evolution Five" preamp that emulates the tonal qualities of tube amplifiers. The easy to operate DSP section of the GFX65T allows the user to dial in one of sixteen onboard digital effects including reverbs, delays, octave, and multi-effects and save to one of three channels. When the channel is reselected, the digital effect that was used for that channel is recalled also. With the supplied three-button footswitch the player is able to select channels, change the overdrive gain, and turn the DSP section off and on. A chromatic tuner is built into the amplifier and is accessible whenever the amp is operating allowing the player to check tuning at anytime.

The Crate GFX120T ($570.12 list) is a 120 watt open back combo amplifier with one Crate 12" speaker sharing the same features as the Crate GFX65T.

The Crate GFX212T ($599.99 list) is a 120 watt open back combo amplifier with two Crate 12" speakers sharing the same features as the GFX65T.

The Crate GFX2200HT ( price TBA) is an amplifier head featuring 220 watts sharing the same features as the GFX65T.

All Crate products carry a 5/2 transferable warranty.
