  • Framus Introduces The Monterey Electric Guitar

    By Guest |

Musicians all seek to have a unique identity, both in their music and in their appearance. With that in mind, Framus created the Monterey electric guitar.

Although the guitar is comprised of very traditional materials – a US Swamp Ash body and a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard – the special "California" high polish finish is guaranteed to be unique for each Monterey that Framus builds. The finishing process has certain random elements that changes from one guitar to the next, making the Monterey as unique as the guitarist who plays it.

The Monterey is loaded with Seymour Duncan's "Calibrated California Set" of single coil pickups. A 5-way pickup selection switch and a simple volume and tone knob tops off the electronics package, making this a very easy guitar to dial in a tone with. Those who have played the Monterey can attest to its incredible variety of tones and textures.

The Framus Monterey has a retail price of $2,399 and is available now. For more information visit the Framus website.
