Final Scratch 1.1 is the first product to result from the cooperation between Stanton Magnetics, Inc. and Native Instruments and now runs on the power of NI's Traktor FS software.

The merging of these two DJ technologies offers turntable jockeys a hardware/software combination for mixing digital music files: CD, MP3 and WAV/AIFF files can be played back and controlled from a classic DJ set up. The first version of Traktor FS will be for Linux and Mac OS X.

Traktor FS offers many of the functions from the standalone Traktor DJ Studio 2.0. Final Scratch 1.1 comes now with a powerful database, prelistening of tracks on a third deck, BPM recognition, waveform displays, integration of external devices and more. The compatibility to Apple iTunes, iPod and Traktor DJ Studio 2.0 databases provide flexibility.

Final Scratch 1.1 is distributed by Stanton Magnetics, Inc. The recommended retail price is $699 and 699 Euro. An upgrade kit is available for $49 or 79 Euro.
