The Evolution X-Session, a USB MIDI control surface specifically designed with the needs of computer-based DJs in mind, is now available.

X-Session features 16 knobs that users can assign to any MIDI parameter in MIDI-compatible music software and hardware, such as volume, panning, effects and synth parameters. The 10 assignable buttons are ideal for triggering loops and effects, or instantly muting and unmuting tracks. The 60mm cross-fader allows DJs to mix between two assignable audio sources, as well as perform scratches. X-Session comes bundled with Ableton Live XS and Arturia Storm XS for a complete, powerful digital DJ experience right out of the box.

X-Session is currently shipping and carries a retail price of $149.95. Evolution is a wholly owned subsidiary of M-Audio.
