DigiTech Announces First Bass FX Processor
By Guest |
After years of persistent public request, DigiTech has finally offered its first preamp/processor solely dedicated to the bass guitarist - the BP8.
The BP8 was crafted with the same attention to detail as DigiTech's top-ranked guitar processors, and is capable of delivering the highest-quality professional bass tones available. A fully-programmable analog compressor, choice of 12AX7 tube or solid state preamps, four-band EQ with two sweepable mids and adjustable Notch Filter all enable the BP8 to offer a stunningly versatile array of sounds.
The bass processor also features a myriad of studio-quality dedicated bass effects that DigiTech is famous for, including Auto Wah, Chorus, Delay, Detune, Flanger, Noise Gate, Phaser, Pitch Shift, Reverb, Tremolo and Wah, as well as an on-board continuous controller pedal to modify effect parameters in real-time. Add to this a rugged metal chassis, integral chromatic tuner and 40 user/40 factory presets, and the BP8 becomes the easiest way to expand a bassist's current rig.
The manufacturer's suggested U.S. list price on the new BP8 is $449.95.
