Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, the original girl-guitar company, proudly welcomes
singer-songwriter Nicole Atkins to the growing Daisy Rock family.   With her mix of
traditional vocal styles and introspective lyrics, she has been compared to singers
from the Brill Building era with a mixture of contemporary style.

Daisy Rock teamed up with Atkins through an introduction at the SXSW festival, and
jumped at the opportunity to work with such a talented artist. Atkins now plays a
Stardust Retro-H De-Luxe in Sea Foam Green and absolutely loves it. When Founder
and President of Daisy Rock Girl Guitars, Tish Ciravolo, found out about Nicole Atkins
wanting to be a part of the Daisy Rock family, she said, “I think it’s awesome that
Nicole is playing the Stardust Retro-H De-Luxe because it fits her personality

With her throaty vibrato and nostalgic, orchestrated pop songs, Atkins brings to
mind a blend of Roy Orbison, Loretta Lynn, and Jenny Lewis. Extensive performances
in New York City helped her attract attention from several local musicians of which
she was able to piece together a band. Now operating under the name Nicole Atkins &
the Sea, the band has played residencies at Piano's—a popular nightspot in the Lower
East Side—which led to a deal with Columbia Records. Atkins released the Bleeding
Diamonds EP in 2006, Neptune City album in late 2007, and an EP of cover material in

Nicole Atkins’ new album Mondo Amore was released on February 8, 2011, and she is
currently on tour in the United States and Canada to promote the new release. To
