Daisy Rock Guitars Announces The "Are You The Next Daisy Rock Artist?" Contest

From July 1, 2006 to July 31, 2006, Daisy Rock Guitars, the world's first Girl Guitar Company, is inviting girl guitarists and bass players, in the Southern California area, to submit their band's press packages and compete to win a top-level Daisy Rock endorsement. The winning artist will also get a guaranteed slot at Daisy Rock's "Pretty 'n Punk" Showcase at The Key Club, in Hollywood. They'll be sharing the stage with some of Daisy Rock's most popular artists, including The Holograms, Pretty In Stereo, Bec Hollcraft and Daisy Rock President & Founder Tish Ciravolo's punk band, sASSafrASS!

To be eligible, bands must meet the following requirements:

• Have at least one female guitarist or bassist
• Based in Southern California (Los Angeles or Orange County)
• Have an EPK and/or hardcopy press kit
• Have a website and/or myspace page
• Gigging regularly at local clubs and venues

Be sure to include:

• A CD with no more than 3 songs (for full-length CDs, be sure to call out your 3 best songs)
• A current publicity photo
• The band's contact information, including your website address
• Live performance footage with your Daisy Rock Guitar is a big plus

*All entries must be postmarked between July 1st and July 31st. The contest winner will receive:

• An "A-Level" Daisy Rock Endorsement
• First guitar/bass is free
• Any guitar/bass after that is 50% off
• Placement on the Daisy Rock website and MySpace page
• Press releases sent to all the major music magazines
• A guaranteed spot at the Daisy Rock "Pretty 'n Punk" Showcase in September 2006
