    By Guest |

Continuing a Successful Series Inspiring the Next Generation

Daisy Rock Girl Guitars—the original girl guitar company—and The GRAMMY Museum® are thrilled to continue the successful “Women in Rock” series, a unique collaboration of successful female music industry professionals gathered to inspire and help L.A. youth through a series of in-depth and insightful panel discussions inside the museum’s Clive Davis Theater.

"Daisy Rock has gathered such a great group of women to represent “Women in Rock.” Each panelist has a unique perspective on the industry, and their knowledge as a group creates an amazing overview from which the students can learn.” commented Kait Stuebner, The GRAMMY Museum’s Education Manager. “The first 'Women in Rock' panel was very successful. The students’ responses after the event were so overwhelmingly positive that we knew our partnership with Daisy Rock had created something wonderful.”

Moderated by Daisy Rock Founder and President, Tish Ciravolo, the second “Women in Rock” panel discussion will gather over 200 students, grades 6-12, on October 19, 2010. The event will feature five impressive female music business professionals who are currently working in today’s industry, including: Erin Yasgar (former Head of Brand Partnerships and Digital Strategy–Interscope Geffen A&M), Stephanie Hopson (Senior Director of Marketing & Advertising–Vanguard Records), Stacy Clark (Singer, Songwriter, and Musician), Tina Morris (Studio Manager–The Village Studio), Beth Sestanovich (Group Publisher–Village Voice Media (LA and OC Weekly)). The event will also include a short performance by Stacy Clark playing a Daisy Rock Bubingo Jumbo Butterfly acoustic/electric guitar.
