Trillium Lane Labs has announced TL Space, a convolution reverb plug-in for the Digidesign Pro Tools platform.

From the largest concert hall to the densest plate reverb, TL Space delivers reverb with the familiar controls used in high-end hardware reverb units. By combining the sampled acoustics of real reverb spaces with advanced DSP algorithms, TL Space offers realism with full control of reverb parameters in mono, stereo and surround formats.

As well as offering the first TDM-based convolution reverb, TL Space is also the first Pro Tools plug-in to harness up to eight Pro Tools HD DSP engines in parallel to deliver smooth, low latency convolution processing. Internally, TL Space uses 32 bit block floating point processing. When used with Pro Tools HD Accel systems, TL Space provides zero latency processing. Finally, TL Space offers automation features designed specifically for post production applications.

TL Space includes a comprehensive library of sampled reverb spaces and effects for music and post applications. In addition, TL Space can easily import existing impulse responses in common convolution formats.

TL Space is designed for Mac OS X and Windows XP operating systems.

    Pricing and Availability

TL Space will be available in native and TDM editions in June 2004. Pricing will be announced at that time.
