Blue Cat Audio Releases Parametr'EQ Plug-Ins v.2.0

Blue Cat Audio has released a new version of its Parametr'EQ directX and VST plug-ins series, including a brand new user interface, MIDI control capabilities and enhanced filter algorithms. These plug-ins are seven bands parametric equalizers with instant response curve preview, analog-like filtering and very low CPU usage. They are suitable for any equalization task. The "widening" version is specialized in stereo enhancement and EQ placement in the stereo field. These products are available separately or as a bundle, and demo versions can be downloaded from the website.

Main characteristics:

• WYSIWYG 7 bands mono, stereo and mid/side analog-like equalizers
• Internal 64 bits processing
• Available as VST and DirectX plug-ins
• Full automation and MIDI control support, with silent (zipper-free) parameters update

New in 2.0:

• Brand new skinnable graphic user interface using Blue Cat's skinning language v1.2.3 (several skins included)
• Advanced MIDI control with customizable parameters curve response and MIDI learn
• Performance and precision improvement of the filters algorithms
• All parameters can now be fine tuned thanks to a text-edit popup window that appears when double clicking on user interface widgets
• User Manual accessible from plug-in UI
• DX version: the factory presets are now available from the host standard presets view (for hosts that support static presets)
