IK Multimedia has announced that AmpliTube RTAS plug-in for Digidesign Pro Tools Windows systems will be shipping in August.
AmpliTube is the ultimate guitar amp and effects plug-in to craft a superb guitar tone in every studio.
Already available for Macintosh platform, AmpliTube is revolutionary news for guitar players - allowing them to simulate the entire guitar array used to craft any guitar tone including amplifier, stomp-boxes and post effects modeling.
Amplitube offers:

AmpliTube is comprised of 3 modules: Amp, Stomp-Boxes and Post FX modules. The Amp Module is the heart of this audio software. Here the user can freely combine 7 different Pre-Amp models, 5 EQs, 4 Power Amps, 9 Cabinets and 2 Mic models producing a total of 1,260 different amp configurations. All the sounds modeled have vintage and modern amps. Mic modeling and placement is also included. Plus the Amp module includes a Tremolo and Spring Reverb.
The Stomp-boxes module offers the emulation of 5 effects including Wah-Wah, Delay, Chorus, Flanger and Overdrive modeled on acclaimed classic guitar effects.
The Post FX module includes 3 stereo post-effects with 3 band parametric Equalizer, Stereo Delay and Stereo Reverb, bringing to 10 the number of different effects included in AmpliTube.
