Artists Bruno Mars, B.O.B. and Janelle Monae performed live with guitar duties being handled by Kellindo Parker on a 3RD POWER HLH Series amplifier system consisting of the HLH HD100 Head and (3) HLH 312 speaker cabinets.

Grammy’s Week is one of the most exciting yet nerve-racking times for an artist fortunate enough to be nominated for an award (not to mention being chosen to perform on the legendary Grammy stage). Such is the case for guitarist, Kellindo Parker who performs regularly with Grammy nominee, Janelle Monae. When Parker learned of his upcoming appearance on the Grammys performing with Janelle and new sensation, Bruno Mars, he was bursting with excitement and nervousness.

At a Los Angeles, CA rehearsal facility, Parker went into dress rehearsals with rented amplifiers. They sounded okay but he was looking for something with a bigger sound and a stronger visual presence to better match his unique style and that of Monae. His inquiry lead him to 3RD POWER’s Jamie Scott who happened to be on-site providing support for another Grammy performer. The two discussed his needs and Parker decided to go with 3RD Power’s HLH Series HD100 Amplifier and (3) HLH 312 cabinets.

"Working with Kellindo throughout Grammy week has been great," says Jamie Scott, 3RD POWER designer and CEO. Scott continues, "The experience of Grammy week is surreal. I can only imagine what it is like for the artists performing."

On working with 3RD POWER, Kellindo states, "Jamie is so attentive to my needs. He made sure everything was perfect for my performance all the way down to my wireless and my effects pedals. He made sure it all sounded great so I could simply focus on my guitar playing."
