  1. Ok I am not gonna be the guy who join the bandwagon here.I am going in the opposit direction with my response instead of being a smart ass about the whole thing.First and most importantly,Get the one that has the black paint job....thats a must.Get yourself a replacement pickguard to replace the Hello Kitty one.If you look around enough, you will find one thats cut for a single Humbucker. And a few screws can mount the new one and cover the old screw holes. Then invest in a Duncan Invader pickup to replace the one in it...They are about 80 bucks.Peice that bad boy back together and you have yourself a home made Tom Delonge Strat. In total, you will spend mabey 20 bucks for the pickguard,80 bucks for the pickup, although a Invader is not really a must, get one that sounds good like a Invader or a Dimarzio. And with these small modifications, you have yourself a kick ass guitar for about 100 bucks more than you pay for it.I should know,my sister gave me hers after she grew tired of it and thats exactly what I did with it although I did refinish the back with a silver sparkle paint later on because it said Hello Kitty on it.It looks sweet with silver sparkle on the back and black front. But who see's the back?I may add silver glitter nail polish to the front and a second clear coat to make it killer.Good Luck with it.Oh by the way,I have had people offer me more than 500 bucks for mine. But it sounds so good with the invader and with no trace of Kitty anywhere on it,it looks really convincing with the replacement pickguard,I wont sell it.Just thought you would like to know that.Have fun and well.....build the guitar.
